I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems. The department is a part of Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Business.

Reward Structure

As a tenured member of the Department, I have been assigned a research track. The teaching load has been a maximum of 4 sections per academic year and my reward structure has been weighted as show in the chart. 

Background

I returned to VCU as an Assistant Professor in 1993, after a stint at GMU and the US Department of Defense. My affiliation with the VCU School of Business began in the late 1970's when I took my first computer course (at the time Info 360 was named Bus 260) in my post high school educational journey. I have been eternally grateful for some superior academic advising that resulted in my double majored in Information Systems and Business Administration & Management. Before I graduated, I was hired initially as a student consultant and we eventually promoted to a computer systems engineer.

At VCU I have been listed as a distinguished educator, listed in Who's Who among America's Teachers and other Who's Who compilations.
